My journey towards design started when I was 18. The question “What is school for?” challenged me to pave my own path instead of going to college like all my peers from high school.

I wanted to be pushed outside my comfort zone, work on things I was passionate about, and become financially independent as soon as I could manage.

So instead of sitting in lectures and taking tests, I decided to teach English in Bali for 3 months, attend a self-directed learning program in San Francisco, pursue a UX/UI bootcamp in Toronto, and then participate in an online program that connects hungry candidates to business partners across the country.

Working as a product designer in real estate tech, finance, and now at United Airlines, I’ve had the opportunity to dive in head first to multiple products with different target audiences, aesthetics, and functions.

I’ve become passionate for product design because it marries stimulating logic and problem solving with gratifying symmetry, colors, typography, and UI.
